The 2026 MT Governor's Cup Walleye Tournament IS SCHEDULED for July 9-11, 2026!
Welcome to the Montana Governor's Cup Walleye Tournament – Northeast Montana's premier walleye fishing event, set against the stunning backdrop of Fort Peck, Montana.
Join us for the 39th Annual Governor's Cup on July 9th, 10th, and 11th, 2026! Team up for this exciting competition with a $300 entry fee per 2-person team. Optional add-ons include $100 for day money and $80 for the big fish pots (walleye and bass). All entry fees are 100% payback and 1st Place this year will be guaranteed $20,000 (based on minimum field of 175).

NEW SIDE POT: Random Weight Side Pots (4 random DAILY total weights each day/$200 entry fee- 100% PAYBACK)
Each day, four random total weights will be drawn, and the teams holding those weights win cash EXCLUDING THE TOP 10%. With a full field of 200 teams paying the $200 random-weight entry, that works out to $5,000 per draw, per day for four lucky teams. That's $20,000 on July 10th and another $20,000 on July 11th up for grabs purely on luck of the draw.
The entry fee for the random weight pot is $200 per team (100% payback), and like all Gov Cup pots, every dollar goes back to the anglers.
